EAST MEADOW, N.Y. – The Long Island University women's ice hockey team has announced its 2026-27 schedule, featuring 35 games, including 18 contests at home.
The Sharks are set to open the 2026-27 campaign on Saturday, Sept. 26, traveling to Boston University for an exhibition matchup. LIU then begins regular-season competition in October with a pair of home games against the University of New Hampshire on Oct. 2-3.
Set to lead the Sharks into the new season is
Grace Babington, who earned 1st-Team All-NEWHA honors for the 2025-26 season after scoring a team-best 15 goals and 17 assists for 32 points, while compiling a +4 rating. She'll serve as captain, alongside fellow returners
Sam Mathe and
Drew Dyczkowski.
Also returning for LIU will be sophomore defender
Addison Robillard, who earned 2nd-Team & All-Rookie honors after playing in all 36 games for the Sharks, scoring four goals with nine assists for 13 points and a +6 rating.
Head coach
Kelly Nash will enter her fifth season at the helm after leading LIU to an 18-17-1 record last season (including a 16-11-1 in-conference tally) with a NEWHA Tournament appearance.

Single game tickets are now available for purchase at athletictickets.liu.edu for $15, with kids 12 and under on sale for $7, and seniors 65 and above or military personnel on sale for $8. Season tickets will be available for $250 per person for all 17 games!
