Noah Serdachny Leads LIU Past Stonehill, Sharks Claim 3rd Place at Inaugural UCHC

Serdachny scores twice, named to UCHC All-Tournament Team

MARYLAND HEIGHTS, Mo. - Noah Serdachny scored two goals and the Long Island University men's ice hockey team (14-18-1) capped the 2025-2026 season with a 4-3 win over Stonehill College (10-22-3) to claim third place at the inaugural United Collegiate Hockey Cup (UCHC) on Saturday at Centene Community Ice Center.

With four goals and five points in three tournament games, Serdachny was named to the UCHC All-Tournament Team.

Serdachny opened the scoring at 10:54 of the first period, giving LIU a 1-0 lead. After falling down 2-1 later in the period, Sixten Jennersjö and J.R Perdion book-ended the first intermission with goals giving the Sharks a 3-2 lead.

In the third, Serdachny stretched the lead to 4-2 on a power-play goal, his team-leading 13th goal and 29th point of the season.

LIU goaltender Daniel Duris made 25 saves to secure the season-ending win.
