A two-time All-Northeast Conference First Team selection, Wisseh was also named to the NEC All-Tournament team this year after helping the Blackbirds advance to the semifinals for the first time since 2005. Wisseh became the first LIU player to earn all-tournament honors since 1997-98 after averaging 21.5 points, 6.0 assists and totalling five steals in a pair of postseason games.

He also ranks second in both free throw attempts (641) and assists (538) and is in the top five in both scoring (1,693) and steals (177). His 165 assists in 2009-10 is the fifth-best single-season mark in school history.
